This is my homesite and display cabinet for my finished writing projects. Currently there are only two, but this will grow as I finish more. I am a web designer as well as a writer and have several projects going at once. From time to time I'll post plans here about my projects.
Life's Journey is unusual in that it's a poem. I am not a poet, this was a one-off and came to me almost from start to finish at half time in the football on TV ages ago. I have given a few others permission to put it on their site's as at the time I didn't have a site. Now I do, I will not rescind that permission.
Jump is my first dip into the Star Wars Expanded Universe. It is a short story set on board the first Death Star during the events of Episode IV - A New Hope from the perspective of a civilian working a contract for the Empire. The idea sprung from a scene in the Kevin Smith movie Clerks.
For those who have seen this site in it's previous incarnations, the articles I did have here will now be rewritten and posted as blog entries as it's much easier to maintain and search......easier for me and you.

All the writing on this site is my own work, and is not to be reproduced in any form anywhere else, except with express permission. I am more concerned with the context it's seen in rather than the potential financial loss involved. The site is entirely my own design and work. I'll be creating a wordpress template which roughly ties in with this site to use as a stop gap. When I switch to a different host, the wordpress blog will be much closer to this design.......when I have 100% control over it.
I currently blog under the name Dirk Gently, which is hosted at wordpress.com. I moderate every comment before it goes live to ensure there is no flaming. I plan to switch it to a separate host at some point, but this is the state of affairs for now. I have different sides to my personality from serious and thoughful to irreverent and bizarre, this is all reflected in the categories on my blog.
